The Vision Behind TANACHE
Crafting Elegance Across Generations
Ashwin Parmar (born 1st October 1977) is an acclaimed Mumbai-based designer with over 25 years of creative excellence spanning jewellery, interior design, and menswear. Known for his keen eye for detail and timeless aesthetic, he consistently transforms ambitious ideas into distinctive designs that harmoniously balance luxury with everyday practicality.
His creative journey began in his family's jewellery business before launching Marco Rosso in 2007 at Kalbadevi, Mumbai. Building on this retail success, Ashwin founded TANACHE in 2011 as an exclusive clubwear shirt brand. Over 14 years in the B2B market, TANACHE's premium fabrics and distinctive details made it one of the most sought-after menswear names across India.
In June 2025, Ashwin opened the flagship TANACHE Designer Clothing Studio in Lalbaug, Mumbai—offering an exclusive collection of luxury shirts, trousers, kurtas, ethnic wear, and bespoke tailoring. Beyond fashion, his design mastery extends into spatial design, having successfully executed 16 residential and commercial interior projects.
Having styled thousands of clients—ranging from 5-month-old infants to distinguished gentlemen aged 78—Ashwin's signature passion lies in creating coordinated father-and-son looks, turning luxury menswear into a celebrated family tradition.
